This recipe has been a tried and true alternative to conventional bug spray for our family and pets. Made with certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils, there are no harmful chemicals or ingredients in this concoction. We have used this on our active German Shorthair Pointer, Murphy exclusively instead of conventional flea and tick medications with great success for many years. Simply spray on yourself, loved-ones, or your dog before spending time outdoors.
Ingredients
5 drops Peppermint essential oil
7 drops Lavender essential oil
10 drops Geranium essential oil
10 drops Lemongrass essential oil
15 drops doTERRA Terrashield essential oil
Place the essential oils in the bottom of a 4 ounce glass spray bottle. Fill to the shoulders of the bottle with clean, filtered water. Tightly secure the spray lid. When enjoying the outdoors, mist yourself, loved ones, or your dog with several sprays of this bug spray. Reapply as needed.
